So what do you do when you're the owner of that iconic voice -- and the embodiment of a genre-bending artistic presence that spans the worlds of music, screen and stage? If you're Reba McEntire, you find creative soul mates in 11 other amazing voices and produce a groundbreaking collection of music simply titled Reba Duets. Or, as McEntire herself might describe it, you gather up some friends old and new, and have a party - oh, and make an amazing new album at the same time. "It was like a family reunion. It was just so much fun!" says the easygoing superstar. And the results? "Well, I'm just so tickled!" she says with her trademark Southern charm. "I can't wait for everyone to hear it." Duets was a long time coming, says McEntire. "You have to keep creating things, thinking about what's next and how to keep it fresh for your fans," she says. "I've always thought a duets album would be a great thing to get to do, and the timing was finally right to make it happen." | | | |

Disappointing Jul 09, 2010 Reba has done some decent duets in the past such as "If You See Him" and "The Heart Won't Lie," so I thought this CD might be comparable to those. I was wrong. The pairings on this album are awkward and incongruous at best and downright hilarious at worst. Who would put Reba together with Justin Timberlake or Kelly Clarkson? All these songs sound like filler. The only one I could listen to was "Every Other Weekend."
Got it right with this one Feb 07, 2010 We both liked this CD. She asked for it by name, no trick requirements, and she was just fine with it; me too.
Reba Fans- Buy This CD! Jan 03, 2010 This is a very good cd- a must have for Reba fans. She sings duets with great artists. The song that her and Kelly Clarkson sing, "Because of You", is just fantastic. They're both very strong female singers and they sound good together. Reba's voice has never sounded better.
REBA is a great duet partener Sep 12, 2009 Her voice range gives her the ability to work with almost any singer. You won't be disappointed.
