Born Toby Keith Covel on July 8, 1961 in Clinton, Oklahoma. After working for a while in the oil industry and playing defense in the USFL football league, he decided to pursue a career in music. In the early `90s, Keith signed with Mercury Records, and by 1993 his self-titled debut album was certified platinum. His follow-up records, Boomtown and Blue Moon were equally successful thanks to such popular hits as "Who's That Man" and "Me Too." In 1997 he teamed with Sting to record "I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying," which earned the duo a Grammy® nomination. More success followed with the 1999 album How Do You Like Me Now?!, which won two Academy of Country Music awards in 2000. His 2002 album, Unleashed sold 3 million copies and included a hit duet with Willie Nelson, "Beer for My Horses."
Inspired by the events of September 11, Keith wrote the controversial "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)," which was hugely popular, particularly among military personnel. In 2002, he was named Entertainer of The Year by the Academy of Country Music. Fully established as one of the top touring acts in the nation and with a couple of Entertainer of the Year awards under his belt, Keith has continued to have a string of multi-platinum albums and hit songs with virtually every release to date.

FOR NEW TOBY FANS ONLY! Jun 27, 2008
If you are a Toby Keith fan, you probably have already purchased the majority of his past CD's that these greatest hits come from. While it is nice to have all of these songs on one compilation and not have to search through Toby's vast C.D. library for your favorite song, having only one (and definitely not so great) new song, "She's a Hottie" makes this greatest hits collection not all that great. I would recommend this greatest hits package only to new Toby Keith fans who have never purchased any of his past C.D.'s. For all other Toby fans, dust off your old Toby C.D.'s and save yourself 15.00.

I am admittedly a Country Music Fan, but I have found that Toby Keith has 2-3 amazing songs per album but I rarely like tracks that don't eventually become singles. This album was my answer. This album features 35 of his best singles, including the new track "She's a Hottie," and it is the only complete album by Toby Keith that I keep on my iPod. It is the perfect first album if you are interested in Toby Keith's music, or it will be a welcome addition to a larger Toby Keith library.

What a great pair of CD's. Hits just keep coming at you one after another. So nice not to have to go digging thru prior CDs to find a favorite song. Toby Keith and country music were made for each other.

You have 2 discs of Toby's most popular songs, most of which are from his last few cds. For $12 bucks, you get 35 songs; the cost alone is reason enough to buy this cd. Anyone who is a Toby fan, should add this to their collection. If you're a new fan, this is a great intorduction to Mr. Keith. A must have for country music fans!

Hi I first heard about Toby Keith when i saw his movie Broken Bridges as i live in Australia we are not always up to date with your Country and Western singers. I was very impressed with the songs in the movie and got the soundtrack album. Then i saw advertised this album 35 Greatest Hits and i thought that i liked his voice so much i would get this album. I find his songs so varied and this reflects in his voice. His music has a very pleasant sound that you can listen to over and over. I feel that i will get many years of enjoyment listening to Toby Keith and i am very happy to have discovered his music. Thankyou Toby Keith and keep dishing out the songs and albums for all to appreciate your music. thanks all for reading this review and i hope you buy his albums and appreciate his music as much as i do. cheers from down under here in australia.
